WEEK: 5 MARCH 2018 - 9 MARCH 2018
***TypingWeb Cycle #9 is due Monday, 12 MARCH 2018!
***Your final EJ Test will be Tuesday, 6 March 2018! Remember, this test will have questions from throughout the text and will contain questions about the immigration background notes that we took at the beginning of the unit!
Monday: (1) Identify your three main points of reason by tomorrow to get approval! Tonight, continue researching information for these three specific points. (2) Study for your final EJ Test, tomorrow!
Tuesday: (1) On your outline, you need to identify a MINIMUM of your first reason and the two supports for that reason.
Wednesday: (1) Write your first argument of reason PARAGRAPH. Use the example given in class as a guideline as well as the transitions resource to help your create a strong and fluid paragraph! (2) Identify the two supports for your second and third arguments of reason, minimally! We will write these paragraphs the next two days in class!
Thursday: (1) Finish your second argument of reason PARAGRAPH. (2) Finish your third argument of reason PARAGRAPH. Meaning, all of your reason of support paragraphs should be done by tomorrow!
Friday: (1) Outline your counterclaims on your final paper outline. (2) Complete your Works Cited page by forming the citations and arranging according to MLA format. (3) Finalize any changes to your reason paragraphs -- all of the peer edits from class should be applied by Monday!
WEEK: 12 MARCH 2018 - 16 MARCH 2018
***Your final paper is due on Thursday, 15 March 2018!!! Remember: You need two copies of your final paper!
Monday: (1) Finalize your counterclaims! Your three reasons, counterclaim, and Works Cited should be DONE by tomorrow! (2) Complete the outline for your introduction and conclusion! Use the guidelines for this paper as well as your structure notes to show you what should be included in your intro/conclusion!
Tuesday: (1) Finalize your paper for the self-check tomorrow! This means that you finish your introductory and conclusion paragraphs and your Works Cited page! You should also apply the MLA formatting (if not completed in class)!
Wednesday: (1) Finalize your papers DUE TOMORROW!!!! You need TWO printed off copies of your final paper! You will not be allowed to leave class to print, as per usual!
Thursday: (1) Finalize speech outline! (2) Be rehearsing your final speech!
Friday: (1) Prepare for your final speech next week! We will do a final peer-assessment on Monday as your last preparation step! (2) You need your book group text by Monday, 26 March 2018!

Wednesday: (1) If you have no yet presented your speech, continue finalizing your speech and visual aid! (2) Complete the grammar worksheet started in class (FRONT SIDE ONLY!!!!) if not completed.
Thursday: (1) If you have no yet presented your speech, continue finalizing your speech and visual aid! (2) Study for your vocabulary quiz tomorrow! (2) Be studying your infinitives! If you didn't finish the worksheet in class, complete it for homework!
Friday: (1) You need your book group text on Monday!!!! (2) Study your infinitives and review the worksheets!
